Critique

I am posting this again because I am not sure if I did it right the first time. I think a critique is very helpful and important for someone who is serious about their work. When receiving a negative feedback, that really helps to improve your work. It can give you a better way of getting out your message. With a positive feedback you know you are getting your message across. Another good thing about a critique is that the viewer's opinion can let you see your work from a different perspective. Even as a viewer you can see something else when the photographer explains their work.

hey Shannon. i am not sure exactly where to post my blog entry, but i am going to post it any ways

Critique
To me, i feel as if a critique is a necessary evil. you will always get a critique, whether you like it or not.If someone sees your piece, they will always say something. either "man, thats really nice," or "what the heck is that?"
In a classroom, or a more formal setting, a critique is supposed to stimulate a well thought response from both the artist, and the critic. To the artist, a criticism helps them determine if the message the artist was trying to convey was actually received accurately, and it also helps them determine what to work on, or what to work less on
To the critic, it it helps them be more open to, and appreciate many different types of work.

sorry its late Shannon.
